Water World

Located in Federal Heights, Colorado, about 10 miles north of downtown Denver, Water World is one of the best water parks in the country. The park opened in August 1979 with the first two waterslides in the state. Today, more than a quarter million people visit the waterpark each year. Tickets to Water World Denver are reasonable and there are discounts available. Children three years old and under are free. Visitors 48 inches and taller pay $29 for full day admission. The biggest attraction at WaterWorld Denver is the TurboRacer. The new attraction opened on 25 July 2007 and cost $4.5 million. It is located near the popular Turbo Racer, and the Big Top is a family-oriented interactive play area. You can ride in four-person spacebowls, and the Pirate Fortress is a full-body slide that allows up to four people to slide simultaneously. There is also a kiddie area for younger children.
